I enjoyed the festival of food on Saturday. I am looking forward to the the 2nd Festival. The workshops were okay; I would have preferred more 101 presentations on getting started with raw food preparation. A workshop on dehydration, sprouting would have really improved my knowledge of raw food. Nonetheless, I had a great time. Really found V Gray's presentation the best.

    Is anyone carpooling from DC?

    July 5

    • Aaron C.

Car pooling is a great idea. If that does not work, here are couple more ways: Metro: Columbia Heights and Shaw Howard are about a 15 minutes walk.
Bike: The bike share station on Georgia Ave. & Fairmont is a two minute walk away.
Bus: The 70 and 79 go up and down Georgia Ave. Hope you make it!

    How is the parking?

    July 5

    • Aaron C.

Parking on Georgia should be fine on a Saturday afternoon. Just South of the Emergence Community Arts Collective is a sports field with lots of street parking. Are we going to see you?
