DC Robotics Group is looking for a few volunteers or Makers for either assisting or providing interactive demonstrations for representing the DC Robotics Group at the NOVA Maker Faire. It will be held Saturday, March 16th, from 11am to 4pm at South Lakes High School, 11400 South Lakes Drive, Reston, VA. For more information see http://makerfairenova.com and more information at
This meeting is to recruit a small number of volunteers, brainstorm and plan the hands-on interactive demonstrations and display for tables with Robotics, Software or Hardware projects hosted by the DC Robotics Group. Please volunteer to help Glenn with demonstrating what Arduino's can do, I"ll be bringing Arduino based robots and other Arduino projects. If you have a project you have built great, we will demonstrate it at the table.
You will need to each purchase your own MakerFair Ticket at the Eventbrite ticketing information site , which is at https://www.eventbrite.com/e/nova-mini-maker-faire-2014-tickets-10421806905 The event fills up fast, so to attend and volunteer you need a ticket, so please get one as soon as possible.
