First time with DC Robotics Group. Learned a ton and great conversations. I'd love to attend another Meetup!

It was great meeting everyone. Here is where I bought the components for the Pi robot I'm working on:

    https://www.sparkfun.com

Here's the site that sells the Arduino based robot that was very easy to work with:

There's lot of online tutorials that step you through building the robot.

    Hope that helps!

Any particular builds you guys are thinking about working on? I don't have anything lined up and I'm just looking to join on for the fun. Let me know!

A lot of our members work on Arduino-based 2WD differential drive robots. There will be opportunities to help others out if you don't have your own project. An interesting challenge would be to grab a whole bunch of spare parts and see what you could build with it...

I ordered some parts from Sparkfun.com. I'm going to build a Pi based robot if the parts arrive before Saturday.
