Bots and Brews

Working on an interesting project or startup idea? Making good progress on an Arduino kit? Share your work with other area roboticists, learn what others are working on, and meet some great people. All are welcome, and demos are encouraged! We'll break to a nearby bar Crystal City for the only robotics-themed happy hour in DC.

Techshop will be our generous hosts. If you're interested in a tour during the event, please call ahead and let them know.

Tentative demos:

• GroundDrone Project (Phillip Walker and Alvin Wong)

• You! (let us know in the comments if you're bringing something)

Cannot make it tonight. Recently bought a printrbot Simple Maker[masked]D printer kit. Nice robot :) Also made a Make Robotics Starter kit from RS using an Arduino UNO and a LittleBits Korg Synth kit.

Parking in the crystal city shops garages are free after I believe 4 pm. I've never had to pay when I drive in. These should be labeled as public garages, right by the Techshop storefront.

I'm very disappointed to not to be able to attend this. Any chance this will be recorded or broadcasted live? Otherwise, I hope to be in town for the next one.

I want to make interactive architectural pieces, but if that sounds cool to you, I'm starting from zero knowledge so I have a long way to go :)
