What grade level(s) do you teach?

I volunteer as an "animal interpreter" at the Invertebrate House at the National Zoo. I speak to people of all ages about the "smaller majority" Most of my formal classroom experience has been with children between the ages of 2 and 6. I would love to become fully certified to teach a broader age range.

What subject(s) do you teach?

Right now, I give impromptu lectures about the. spiders, cephlopods, leaf cutter ants, anemones,& etc who reside at the Invertebrate House.

At what school do you teach?

I have been a general teacher in various toddler and preschool classrooms. My most recent experience was at Franklin Montessori. I loved the "Beyond the Walls " weekly nature program that took us into the Soapstone Valley trail system.
