Get your game on! Bring any game(s) you'd like to play. Here's some of what we've got at the house:

Cards Against Humanity; Fluxx (many variants); The Resistance; Gloom and Cthulhu Gloom; Zombies (plus many supplements); Cthulhu Dice; Munchkin; Munchkin Cthulhu; Wiz War; Saboteur; Triominos; Armchair Cricket; Set; Rack-O; Bang!; We Didn't Playtest This at All/Either; Get Bit; Crappy Birthday; Settlers of Catan; Teams of Enemies; Apples to Apples; Trivial Pursuit (plus a couple of add-ons); Cribbage; Events, Feudal, Twixt, and 221B Baker Street, all of which are Avalon Hill games: In Pursuit; Finish Lines; and many, many decks of playing cards. We've also got an XBox/Kinect and a Wii, if people want to play those. We might pick up a copy of Lords of Waterdeep before game day, which if you have not played, YOU MUST.

TL;DR: We've got a wide tolerance for games for grownups (see Cards Against Humanity).

We'll provide food and beverages, but feel free to bring something if you have special dietary requirements, really like a particular adult beverage (beer, wine, whatever), etc. Last game day went until almost midnight, so bring your 5-Hour Energy six pack. Also, for those with allergy issues, please note that we've got three friendly dogs onsite who already love you but who do shed a bit.

For those planning to bring a bag of chips and a jar of salsa: Please bring something else! After one game day, we had a 9 cubic foot box filled with unopened bags of tortilla chips.

Come early, stay late, just hang out and socialize. It's all geek.*

*Perhaps this isn't strictly a steampunk event, but you're welcome to wear whatever you like and come in character if it suits.

Heather, do you still want to run the game day with just two of us, or try and reschedule?

Hi, Karen--I've put it out to a couple of other groups, and we've got 30-35 people coming. No need to move it!

Cupcakes are always welcome! Planet Steam looks pretty cool. I've never played it.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
