Please bring a laptop with a Windows operating system with you to this meetup. You can find links to trial and free versions of Tableau here: http://www.meetup.com/dc-tableau-workshop/pages/Helpful_Links/
The fine folks at the Washington Post and Capital Insight have agreed to host us this week. We'll be in downtown DC, a couple blocks from McPherson Square and Farragut North.
If you've never used Tableau before, or feel like you could do with a review of the basics, you're in luck: The first hour of this meetup will be devoted to helping newcomers learn to use Tableau thru presentations and hands-on activities. If you consider yourself more on the advanced side, feel free to come around 2:00 for the start of the general session, or stop by early and help out.
Here's a tentative schedule. Interested in presenting a cool trick or viz? Let me know!
