The next Meetup is tomorrow night — check out the full agenda HERE. We'll be doing an 'open mic' at the end, so get ready to share your 15-second announcements/hires/needs/etc. with a full room :)
The St. Elizabeths East Campus spans 183 acres and in Southeast. The District seeks a master developer for the first phase, which covers 1.6 million square feet and is in close proximity to Congress Heights Metro Station. It offers an opportunity to create a technology-focused, transit-oriented community that includes business, research, higher education and residential uses in a collaborative environment. “This is an unprecedented opportunity to transform one of the District’s most historic properties into an innovative and inviting community,” said Mayor Gray. This development phase is in addition to the Mayor’s commitment to the United Medical Center’s plans for a full scale medical facility on the East Campus.
See you tomorrow!
