This group is for Women only- single or married- who will be wingwoman to each other- be there for each other. We are located in Washington,, D.C.-and the surrounding area (including Montgomery County, Arlington, etc. and you are from the late 20s to your 40s- but open to enjoying oneselves and laughter. I've heard from many women that it's more difficult to make friends as adults and this group is to make, nurture, and maintain real friendships with other women whether you are new to the area or most of your friends aren't into going out anymore and are married with children (not that you can't be that and be in the group and have fun). We will share cultural, athletic and intellectual pursuits with each other--explore the area, enjoy adventure, etc, and we'll try to make it as inexpensive as possible. Activities will include trying something new at least once a month, trips, visiting museums, walks, fitness, watching sports, engaging in sports, plays, movies, spas, brunches, wine tasting, volunteering for each other's and new good causes, other cultural, athletic activities, as well just hanging out with new found friends and having a fabulous time. The possibilities have no bounds. Come to laugh, share stories, explore, try new activities, and make new friends. Our goal is to make new friendships through new activities, communication, socialization, exploration, and laughter. You'll have friends to share your good news and bad. You'll have a "wingwoman" to 1) talk to when you need a friend with whom to talk, 2) help find men together perhaps or just be there for the other to find a new guy, 3) have each other's backs, 4) find a workout partner, 5) share adventure and fun, 6) share good conversation, 7) make and retain quality friendships, etc. Come join and start having some fabulous times with other friendly, warm, adventuresome, interesting women.
