Hey Everyone!  Thanks for the interest!  The cost will depend on the number of folks who come and for how long they stay.  The dates are from the 4th through the 17th of October.  The max price will be 500/week /person.  That includes some food, though, if you have a special diet you will need to provide for yourself.  There will be a dog there, so only folks who are tolerant of a sweet old dog.  It will be quiet, cool and beautiful.  One will need to dress warmly and bring flannel or other warm pjs.  And bring walking shoes, since it is 1.5 miles out of town.

The house is near libraries and coffee shops.  There are a bunch of great biking trails very near by. And a golf course, too.  There are 3 bedrooms.  One sleeps 4, it has twin beds and 2 floor mattresses.  The other 2 have double or queen sized beds.  And there are 2 sleeper sofas.  There are 2 full baths.  This won't be high-end accommodations on the beach, just a simple pretty house in an exquisite location.

Hoping for a max of 6 people at any one time.

We'll have at least one car for day trips around the island.  Which is absolutely gorgeous, by the way.  A really nice place to go in the fall.  And it may still be warm enough to swim or wade at the many beaches in the area, several of which are within a few miles walking distance of the house.

Really looking for easy going, nice folks who are going to focus on work, be that writing, studying or creating. This is not a party trip, nor a really social one, it is a working vacation.  If you are interested, email me directly at [address removed] and send me your phone number or Skype contact

Subject: Martha's Vineyard writing trip

Hey all!

Who wants to go to Martha's Vineyard for up to 2 weeks on a writing trip in October!  I am deciding this week but I do not need to commit before our next meeting on Tuesday the 20th (though I may not be there since I am wait listed).

The house is in Oak Bluffs, a short walk into town.  It has Wifi, cable and sleeps up to 8.

For me, this would be a working vacation,, I'll bring my dog, hiking shoes, lap top and a pile of books.  If anyone is interested in a quiet and beautiful place to write and would be up for sharing the expense, let me know.

Ellen
