Le Pain Quotidien proved a good place for a meet up--and bonus--they serve beer and wine! You can get a light meal, but it's also ok to just have a drink. This should be our home for a while until something better opens up on H St NE.

Hey all--i'm Running about 15 minutes late but I'm on my way
Apparently I JUST missed the RSVP deadline! I'd still like to attend tonight though.
We won't turn you away. :) Come on out!
I've RSVP'd for you. :)
So sorry I have to drop out tonight. I really want to come but have to go out of town for a wedding this weekend, and still have a bunch to do in advance for that. Hope to join in soon!
We understand! Hope to see you soon. I don't have meetups schedule for the next two weeks, because I'll be out town--but after that we'll start up again.
Hi Jennifer, I won't be able to attend until the New Year. I have started teaching knitting classes, and I'm helping a knit wear design teacher prepare for upcoming classes. Look forward to seeing you in 2014!

Hi Ivy--we will miss you. Maybe you'll have some tips to share now that you have teaching experience! Congrats and I hope to see you soon.

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
