Purpose:
All levels of interest welcome- ideally the group will include novice to expert. This group is for people in the local area to get together for swapping information, tips, resources and, of course, plants.
This could be a great way to learn more & network with other orchid lovers- all while having lots of laughs (and good food/drink).
In addition, there will be "Urban Orchid Hunts"; group outings seeking shows, greenhouses, exhibits, etc. In warmer months we could take this idea back to nature by hikes/day-trips spent searching for wild/native orchids.

All input welcome. Open communication encouraged.


***Additional thoughts:

*If people have wish-lists we could pool together and keep an eye out or maybe someone already has-a-plenty.

*It is common to find out a new species doesn't work for you- be it your available lighting conditions/space or a number of other factors... instead of tossing it, we can help redistribute it to a new home.
