We will spend the day venturing to two of New York City’s most famous landmarks: the American Museum of Natural History and Grand Central Terminal.
The American Museum of Natural History in New York City is one of the largest and most popular museums in the world. The museum is over 1,600,000 square feet and features over 32 million species of plants, animals, fossils, minerals, human cultural artifacts and other items of interest. Some of their exhibits and facilities include the African Mammal Hall, Arthur Ross Hall of Meteorites, Milstein Hall of Ocean Life, Rose Center of Earth and Space, and other popular exhibits. Visit www.amnh.org for more information.
We will then venture to and eat dinner at Grand Central Terminal, which features over 60 shops, stores, restaurants, and a market that sells food and bakery items. Stores include Banana Republic, Grande Harvest Wines, Kenneth Cole, The Apple Store, and other interesting shops. We will also have the opportunity to view the amazing architecture, high ceilings, and large crowds of this one hundred year-old train station.
