This will be our first outing where we will spend Saturday and Sunday in Boston, Massachusetts!
On Saturday, we will venture around the historic districts and popular sites of the city. Our first stops will include the historic sites of Boston Commons, the Old State House, and the Beacon Hill neighborhood. We will then eat lunch, rest, and shop at Faneuil Hall. Faneuil Hall is a historic marketplace in downtown Boston that features many shops, food vendors, and various restaurants. We will spend the rest of the afternoon and evening venturing to the Paul Revere House, Boston Harbor, and the North End neighborhood, which is the oldest neighborhood in Boston and home to one of the city’s largest Italian communities.
We will conclude the evening with dinner in North End and an evening activity, such as a jazz club, a lounge, or walking the city to view the sights. I am open for any suggestions.
On Sunday, we will take a tour around some of the well known neighborhoods of Boston such as Charlestown, and Back Bay. We will walk to Charlestown and visit the USS Constitution as well as the Bunker Hill Monument. We will also take the subway to Cambridge, Massachusetts and venture around the world-renown Harvard University campus and eat lunch at Harvard Square, one of Cambridge’s upscale and quaint squares. We will end the tour at the Back Bay neighborhood with dinner, sightseeing, shopping, and any other activities that Boston has to offer.
Our last stop will be the SkyWalk Observatory at the Prudential Center, which offers 360 degree views of the city from 52 floors above the street. Tickets are $14.
IMPORTANT NOTE: I will keep continual communication with the group several times before the date of the trip to follow up with members, notify attendees of any changes to the schedule, and to send important information that is needed for the trip.
