Always thought archery was cool? Maybe you watched Robin Hood one too many times? That's okay... We did too! So...get a "taste" of archery! This 1 1/2 hour class is a basic introduction to archery and gets you on the range to practice your shooting skills. Then head out for drinks and more fun!  (If you are in the earlier session and want to switch to the 5PM session -- just let me know on the board or e-mail and I will move you if there is room.)

DATE/TIME: 5:00pm-6:30pm. (Make sure to be on time and give yourself plenty of time to get there!) Then head out for drinks afterwards.

COST: $31.50 pp. First paid basis only via Amazon Payments!

WHAT'S INCLUDED:

• Private Class for our group

• Equipment

• Basic Instruction with 2-3 Instructors

• Instructors help each participant as he/she shoots

WHAT TO WEAR: Archers need tighter fitting T-shirts or similar tops. No baggy or frilly clothing on the upper body. No sweatshirts or heavy, loose sweaters. Avoid collars sitting higher on the neck (turtlenecks, etc.). Shoes should be comfortable. Long hair needs to be tied back.

DIRECTIONS:

From Washington and east/southeast: exit I-66 at US Route 29. Turn right at the light to head south. From west and southwest: exit I-66 at US Route 29. Partway down the long exit ramp, turn left to head south on US Route 29. Go about one and one-half miles. Turn left onto Bull Run Post Office Road. Go about half a mile. At the sharp turn that has the 10 mph sign, bear off right. After crossing over I-66, immediately turn left. This will lead you to the Shooting Center. The range is downstairs in the building.

AFTER DINNER PLANS: This is probably the best spot too meet afterwards. Ruby Tuesday I-66 E. I'm driving from Ballston, VA and can take a few people. I live 2 blocks from the Ballston metro stop. If you could meet me there, that would be great but I'd be willing to make a detour if the metro is inaccessible.

Debbie. I would love to go with you from the Ballston metro. What time will you be leaving on Sunday to get there by 5pm?

Great! With you, I think I have a full car. It's about 40 minutes away with good traffic, so we should probably leave around 4.

hi all, I saw three different dates posted too. I think the meetup is for Aug 12th, Sunday 5.00 PM. That said, I am coming from Chantilly. I have room for 3 people. If anyone in the Herndon, Vienna, Reston, Chantilly needs a ride..feel free to let me know.
