Introduction
Hi, everyone! I created this meet up group because I love drawing, I love food, and both together with great company should be fun!
What is your favorite medium?
Charcoal! I also love oils, although I'm just learning how!
What kinds of things do you like to draw or paint? (e.g. portraits, still life, landscape, etc)
Portraits and nudes are my favorites, though I love anything that has a dynamic curve or feel to it. I find hands intriguing. Landscapes, however, are my bane.
What kinds of places would you like to explore?
I love older architecture and outside spaces. Modern buildings aren't really my style, but I've been known to wander into places with interesting themes.
Name your three favorite places to grab a bite or have a drink in DC.
1. Ripple in Cleveland Park - the bacon smoked pecans are incredible 2. Indian Ocean in Van Ness - try the fried okra! 3. Murasaki in Tenleytown - friendly waitstaff & yummy rolls
