What intersection of law and technology interests you the most?

How the law can fuel the delivery of great content and services to consumers by ensuring that intellectual property and privacy rights and allow the efficient movement of content and information while still providing the proper incentives and protections to creators and consumers.

What unique skill set or connections do you hope to teach the group?

I can provide perspective on how technology, privacy and government spying affects the public’s ability to gather news and learn about the workings of our government.

I am a lawyer and former Associate General Counsel to The Associated Press, and have practiced law for over 20 years at the intersection of technology, IP and privacy. I started my career working on the Clipper Chip debate and the DMCA.
