Hi everyone,
As you may have heard, legal hackers from DC, LA, NY, and Seattle have pitched a panel for the 2015 SXSW interactive conference. However, to get picked, we need your support!
The panel is called “Legal Hackers: A Global Movement to Reform the Law,” and we're asking for a few minutes of your time to help in the community voting process.
All you need to do is:
1. Create an account with PanelPicker at https://auth.sxsw.com/users/sign_up
2. Once you’re logged in, go to our submission page at http://panelpicker.sxsw.com/vote/41760
3. In the upper left corner, you’ll see a “Cast Your Vote” section. Click on the thumbs-up symbol, and you’re done!
You can only vote once, and the deadline is Friday, September 5.
We would really appreciate it if you could share this with your friends, Twitter followers, and others to help Legal Hackers take the stage at SXSWi 2015!

Full Details:
Held annually in Austin, Texas every March, SXSW Interactive is one of the world's largest technology conferences. Community voting accounts for 30% of the decision-making process for SXSW panel programming.
Panel Topic: Legal Hackers: A Global Movement to Reform the Law
It’s a constant refrain: the law fails to keep up with technology, and lawyers themselves are in the dark ages. But what can be done? A growing movement of “Legal Hackers” may have the answer. Legal Hackers are lawyers, policymakers, technologists, and academics who have applied the “hacker ethic” to the legal profession as a means of fostering ground-up change in an industry that desperately needs it. In this panel, we will hear from a few of the leaders of the movement about what legal hacking is, how it is changing the legal industry for the better, and what the future holds.
Thanks for your time and support!

Done Jameson! and here's what I posted as the "reason why":

"The DC chapter of this group has done numerous excellent Meetups on patent reform, drones and data mining that I've ateended and which has become a "don't miss" group in DC because of the consistently impressive expert panels and great professional give-and-take among the full-house audiences - I'm sure the SXSW session will be similarly incredibly interesting and informative!"
