Jam Session at Bach2Rock in Bethesda

Oh yes, there will be rock!  Our first major event is set for Jan. 22 at Bach to Rock in Bethesda.  There is plenty of equipment on hand but please bring your own bass, guitar, or percussion instrument if you desire.  You may also want to bring ear plugs.  It will get loud!

We have one large studio reserved but we may split into two groups depending on the turnout.  There is a $10 charge per person to cover the studio time.  Please bring cash or pay online using the amazon payment tool.

Please try to prepare two (relatively) easy songs.  Also, please bring tabs, lyrics or other helpful tools.  Our goal is to learn from each other in a friendly no pressure environment.  I look forward to seeing you all on the 22nd.

Mark had some good questions. Click on the member's profile and you should see their instrument and musical interests. "Prepare two songs" means know the chords and lyrics well enough to teach and play the songs. I would keep it simple, e.g., Jethro Tull's locomotive breath - Em, G, D, EM verse and G, A, B chorus. We do need a drummer!

Eric, thanks for setting this up. A couple of questions: are there keyboards there or should I bring my own? And do we need to bring amps and cables?

I will play bass for other people's songs if there is one available.

Good chance they will have a wah pedal but I would call to confirm - [masked]. We have the large studio in the back.
