Cops out at Meridian Hill today...again

Just wanted to let everyone know that the park police are kicking slackliners off of the trees again today. I think Sean (in the discussions section) has the right idea, we're going to need to do some advocating to get back access in national parks in dc. The officer said that they are starting to crack down in all the parks.

Is everyone using protection for the trees? I can see cops having issues if you're not. Or maybe this is just wishful thinking and they are cracking down regardless.

The thing is with proper protection is does no harm. Thus setting up a line for a few hours shouldn't fall under this restriction. It's kinda their word against ours. It hard to argue with an officer bc they're following orders from above and really don't care what you have to say about it.
