Filming a travel series pilot on Sunday, August 17. Hoping to find an experienced slacker (or a group!) who's willing to be on camera teaching 2 newbies how its done. We don't have lines, so it would be great if you had your own.

I've heard Meridian Park doesn't allow it anymore (is that true?) so we're open to location ideas in the DC area. We hope to secure a production time by the end of this week.

You can find me on Twitter @ADHardaway, or online at Thanks! I'll be checking this forum and hopefully we can make something happen!

I'm unsure if I can make it this Sunday, so I won't commit to anything, but I can give suggestions for spots!

DuPont circle is a great place to set up if you want the feel of slacklining in the city. You're surrounded by buildings, people, and most representative of DC, traffic! All jokes aside, the circle is a lovely and photogenic place.

Meridian Hill can be a good location, but there's a good chance you'll be kicked off trees if you set up before 5pm (hint)

I'm sure someone here would be willing to help out, though! You may want to post to our facebook page too, DMV slackline:
