Roberto Pomili, composer, conductor and international musician, is considered one of the best tango composers of his generation. Musical reviews have said that Pomili deserves not only to be heard but seen playing to fully understand and appreciate his authentic identification in Tango music. Since 1995 he has had the pleasure of performing in some of the most important concert halls in the world. His last CD "concerTango recordando a Piazzolla", which is a tribute to the famous Argentinian composer Astor Piazzolla, sold over 10,000 copies in the USA. Pomili will perform with his band including the special guest Latin Grammy Award Winner Raul Jaurena, master of the Tango and one of the most prominent bandoneon players, and Marga Mitchell, a wonderful singer and Grammy Nominee Gustavo Casenave on piano.
Performer and composer Roberto POMILI is considered one of the best Tango/Flamengo double bass players of his generation. His personal musical style has developed throughout the years as a result of his interest and experiences playing gypsy, tango and flamenco music.
Since 1995 he has had the pleasure of performing in some of the most important concert halls in the world including: Concertgebouw (Amsterdam, Holland), Queen Elizabeth Hall (Antwerpen, Belgium), Palais de Beaux-Arts (Bruxelles), Theatre Auditori (Barcelona, Spain), Teatro alla Scala (Milan, Italy), Barbican Exhibition Hall (London, England), Thailand Cultural Center (Bankok, Thailand), Grand Theatre Shanghai (China), Seoul Arts Center (Korea), Cultural Center New Delhi and Bombay (India), Roy Thomson Hall (Toronto, Canada).
