Looking to meet interesting people who have an interest in Italian culture and who do not believe in the stereotypes of the Italian immigrant.

What else would you like to tell our group about yourself?

I have lived in DC for the past three years; before I lived in NYC, NJ, Miami, Houston... While I love living and working here I miss being able to share my love of Italian life and culture with others.

How did you learn about PIAZZA ITALIA - The Washington, DC Italian Language & Culture MeetUp group?

My mother, Carla Guglielmino, recently joined.

What is your favorite Italian book/author, Italian film, Italian song/musician, Italian food, Italian city?

Book: Travels in Hyper Reality, Umberto Eco. Italian Film -too many to mention. Musicians: Zucchero, Claudio Baglioni, Renato Zero. Food: I like all "slow food" -organic, well cooked and with inspiration. Torino and Rome are amazing cities.

How long have you been interested in the Italian Language and why; at what level do you speak Italian; are there any other languages you speak or have an interest in?

Italian is my mother language. I also speak Spanish like a native -or very close. My French is Ok, I should practice it more often...
