What else would you like to tell our group about yourself?

I am a public servent since two years ago, I love to travel and at least once every two years go to Italy and have family visiting me every year from Italy. I enjoy skiing, music, soccer and cooking.

How did you learn about PIAZZA ITALIA - The Washington, DC Italian Language & Culture MeetUp group?

Actually while browsing the website ""!

What is your favorite Italian book/author, Italian film, Italian song/musician, Italian food, Italian city?

Favorite book must be "I giovani sposi" and "la divina commedia". Films, allow me to say any film by De Sica, Visconti, Fellini & Antonioni. Classical music, Vivaldi, Rossini, Verdi & Puccini and for comtemporay music Battisti, Cocciante, Zero, Ramazzotti and above all Mina. Italian pasta in any shape or form and my favorite city, I have to mention the two cities I lived the most i.e. Milano e Roma but I have to mention Vennice, Florence, Capri, Napoli, Assisi.....the list can continue!

How long have you been interested in the Italian Language and why; at what level do you speak Italian; are there any other languages you speak or have an interest in?

I lived in Italy for years and have my masters degree from Brera Academy of Fine Arts. I can speak Italian quite fluently I should say. I can speak some Spanish, French & Parsi.

I am overjoyed to have found this website! I am dual citizen of Italy and USA and am looking forward to participate in some events organized by Piazza Italia.
