What else would you like to tell our group about yourself?

Sto un capogruppo e lavoro per una azienda qui a Washington, DC. Viaggio spesso in Italia con gruppi Americani e vorrei migliorare mio italiano.

How did you learn about PIAZZA ITALIA - The Washington, DC Italian Language & Culture MeetUp group?

sul internet

What is your favorite Italian book/author, Italian film, Italian song/musician, Italian food, Italian city?

Adoro Laura Pausini! Anche Giorgia, Jovanotti, Stefania Orrico, Negramaro sono alcuni dei miei preferiti. Some of my favorite Italian food has to be Bolognese, and Sicilian food is really amazing.

How long have you been interested in the Italian Language and why; at what level do you speak Italian; are there any other languages you speak or have an interest in?

I have studied Italian art and architecture throughout college and graduate school and have never taken a formal Italian language class. I taught myself Italian using books, listing to music, consulting the dictionary and by and large by trial and error!!

I am originally from the MD/DC area and because of my current professional work, I travel to ITaly very frequently leading cultural groups on art and architectural tours from Torino and down to Siracusa.
