I hear you Cheryl - welcome! Mosquitos tend to love me a bit too much!
I would love to kayak with you - I just did the other week!

Hi Cheryl,
I got to the open house of the Washington Hospital new Outpatient Diabetes Center just after 5pm. I did a short tour of the facility and went around the booths. I also sat and listened to all the speakers. So I probably was there until about 6pm. Were you there at this time?
Margaret
Thanks! Looking forward to the next time! Cindy
Hi Cheryl,
Thanks for the inquiry. No, unfortuanately I wasn't able to give direct feedback to the ADA about the event. I have talked to one of the members though that said that the South Bay ADA tends to be very unorganized. So perhaps that event was a reflection of that.

Hi Cheryl,
Thanks for the welcome note! I'll brainstorm about some fun and educational event options for the group in the next few days and get back to you.
Thanks, Cheryl. I appreciate your idea on cross-promoting
our groups. Gastroparesis and diabetes are actually more linked than you may think. The most common cause of Gastroparesis is due to Diabetes. So often is Gastroparesis due to diabetes that there is a term "gastroparesis diabeticorum," that refers exclusively to it. It affects both Type 1s and Type 2s. A future plan of my support group is to also do community outreach and educational talks to raise awareness of Gastroparesis.
Thank you so much for the welcome! :-) Sadly, I can't make it Sunday, but I will greatly be looking forward to the next meet.
So what did you decide (food-wise) about the meetup? Bring food to share or go out nearby for lunch?
Hi Cheryl,
thanks - yes, I've been trying to make it to the raw foods meetup, but my schedule hasn't cooperated. So are you following a raw foods diet?
