Get ready to get published! The first DFW Independent Publishers Meetup of 2012 will tell you how to define your vision, map out a strategy and get started. In keeping with our theme of "Nine Months to Your Baby," we'll help you define your vision, map out a strategy, get started and properly "feed" your baby.
Join us in our NEW HOME -- the Coffee House Cafe. Dedicated meeting room, FREE Wi-Fi, better food, cool atmosphere, better visibility to people who could be our customers, a location that is conducive to our cause...plus a great new neighborhood spot to visit!
Our March speaker is author, speaker and publishing expert Tammy Kling. Tammy's books have been published in Israel, China, Brazil, Germany, London, France, Bulgaria, Holland, Italy, Portugal and many other countries across the world. She is a literary coach who guides clients through the process of attracting an agent, and a publisher, and writing a book. Tammy is a speaker, who addresses audiences on the topics of crisis management, reaching the next level, goal setting, and letting go.
Tammy will be speaking on The Power of Compression -- what it is, how to deploy it in the areas of writing, publishing and eliminating barriers that keep you from accomplishing your dreams and goals. After authoring 29 books, she should know.
In honor of Daylight Savings Time, our March drawing is for a "Spring Fling in a Box."
Each DFW Indie meeting is followed by the Dallas Independent Author's Network (DIAN) meeting, led by multi-book author Rita Dear. If you're already published and are looking for places to market your work, this group is for you. We'll be handing out info on local outlets and events.
Looking forward to see you there!
