ATTENTION ALL CURRENT BLOGGERS: We need your voice and expertise at our meeting this Sunday. Even though the program says Blogging 101 there is an important reason for you to be there. Our group continually grows because we help each other. Those with more knowledge gratefully give to those without. It is the perfect way to learn about the field of self publishing since there is so much for each of us to know by ourselves.
If you are currently writing a blog, we want your input. You can help others save time and energy by passing on to us the tips that you have learned in the process of setting up your own blog and in using and promoting it. Maria Whitworth will be guiding us on our journey into blogging on Sunday, Dec. 14 and you can assist her by sharing your own personal blogging story. This will be a win-win situation because not only do you get to promote your own blog but you also get to participate in the holiday spirit of giving. Most traditions recognize this as a season for giving and sharing. We invite you to be a part of it by accessing your generosity and using it to provide your own specific gift of knowledge.
Please RSVP today. Plan to come on Sunday and contribute your blogging experience. It is a gift only you can give to all of us. It always feels so good when you can help another person learn something new. We need your voices to blend with ours as we all move a little closer to the goal of publishing that special work that has been placed within our hearts to share with others. Blogging can give a head start to those just beginning this journey and it can infuse excitement into the marketing strategy for those who are already published.
I look forward seeing all of you at the Schimelpfenig Library this Sunday from 2-4:30pm.
There are two ways to go about publishing: conventional and self-publishing. For those who are not interested in the former, this group will give direction and support in writing, designing, publishing and promoting your books. It's a new era, and self-published books are coming into their own. Let's get together and help one another on the road to success.
We will have meetings where you can meet other business professionals. Come hang out with us -- you'll learn something new and meet some great people!
