South side Jazz Jam @ Classic Cup Cafe

Come on down to the south side for tasty coffee, delicious dinner, and some JAM! This jam will be exactly like our Sunday Jams, bring your Real books (I and II), your instrument of choice, and plan to have some fun. All levels welcome. The venue is open so people will be able to come in and hear us play, so even if you don't make music, but appreciate it come out and hang. They have food, coffee, free WiFi, and I mentioned to the owner that everyone who plays would at least buy a cup of coffee or something, or they have real food, so come early and eat before you play. They have 0, as in zero, equipment that we can use, except for chairs, so be as self contained as possible. There will be a drummer willing to share his set. Money from tips will be split with anyone who plays. Anyways, please RSVP before the day of, so I can have the proper setup, give the venue a head count, and I am extremely excited!

Man that was blast at Friday's Jam...if you miss it, we had 3 drummers playing one kit at once on the last tune. It was great, thanks to Lionel & Donald for helping get thru "Tenor Maddness" at that up tempo. My energy was winding down by that time, so much fun. Sharing our love of jazz and swingin' is something I try not to take for granted, thanks for the musical and drumming friendship fellows. Somebody post video and or photo's soon here or on facebook...I've got to share!! All Good Things!!!

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
