This session will focus on how nonprofits and techies can work together to effect change in the world (or at least in DFW!). If you are new to NTEN and aren't sure what we're about, or if you're a member who wants to know next things you can do to get involved, you won't want to miss this meeting!!
Beginning in January 2014, we will be alternating between networking opportunities and meetings and hands on education. Some of the educational meetings might cover topics like: nonprofit technology, marketing, business practices, customer relationship management, fundraising and donor management, and volunteer management best practices!
If there's something particular you would like to see in the coming meetings (either educationally or otherwise), please bring your suggestions!
We will also be discussing future locations for meetings: while the restaurant atmosphere is fine for socializing, it won't always be ideal for learning, so UTA has kindly offered to partner with us in hosting some of our meetings in the continuing education building!
