New Meetup: Badminton/Tennis Meetup

From: Stuart
Sent on: Tuesday, November 11, 2008 12:27 AM
Announcing a new Meetup for The DFW Chinese Language Meetup Group!

What: Badminton/Tennis Meetup

When: November 15,[masked]:30 PM

Where: Click the link below to find out!

Meetup Description: Hello again,

In case you've never played badminton at UTD with us before, here's the scoop:

Admission is $5 to enter the Rec Center, or possibly only $2 if you enter with a UTD student (have not verified that). So...Tina, Laurence, and Vienna, come on out! You do have to register at the front desk. The courts are first come, first serve.

Bring your badminton and/or tennis gear (a group of us usually break off to play tennis). It's also a good idea to bring water. Don't worry if you don't have badminton equipment, we usually have extras.

We will play from 1:30 until we get sick of playing. Those of us coming from lunch in Richardson may be a little late.

Directions:
It is the one floor building on the left side of the campus. If you come through the school's gate, before keep driving straight into the campus through the security, turn left, you will see a parking area in front, left side is the football field, on your right hand it is the recreation center.

Also, per UTD policy, visitors are supposed to get a parking pass and park in the guest spots. We've never had a problem with parking in the past, but I wouldn't recommend parking in the front row if you don't have a permit!

Let me know if there are any questions.

Stuart
