Announcing a new Meetup for The DFW Chinese Language Meetup Group!

What: Badminton/Tennis Meetup this Sunday

When: November 23,[masked]:00 PM

Where: Click the link below to find out!

Meetup Description: Hello everyone,

Get off your couch and come play badminton with us this Sunday! We're playing at the UTD Rec Center starting from 1:00 PM until we run out of energy.

I have confirmed with the Rec Center that there are no scheduled activities in the gym on Sunday, so we should be good. I plan to re-confirm tomorrow just to be safe. For future reference, their phone number is[masked]-2090.

In case there is any confusion or you can't find us, you can reach me on my cell phone [masked]).

Hope to see you there!

More information about the Rec Center below:

Admission is $5 to enter the Rec Center, or possibly only $2 if you enter with a UTD student (have not verified that). You do have to register at the front desk. The courts are first come, first serve.

Bring your badminton and/or tennis gear (a group of us usually break off to play tennis). It's also a good idea to bring water. Don't worry if you don't have badminton equipment, we usually have extras.

It is the one floor building on the left side of the campus. If you come through the school's gate, before keep driving straight into the campus through the security, turn left, you will see a parking area in front, left side is the football field, on your right hand it is the recreation center.

Also, per UTD policy, visitors are supposed to get a parking pass and park in the guest spots. We've never had a problem with parking in the past, but I wouldn't recommend parking in the front row if you don't have a permit!
