Group for those who like classic films, not just recent releases. We primarily meet at a clubhouse, coffeeshop, in public libraries, home theaters and other venues with projectors or big plasma screens. The Magnolia in the West Village often has free Turner Classic movies showing on the big screen. We then meet to talk about the film, afterward.
Feel free to arrange another meeting place, a film favorite or become an assistant organizer and sponsor a screening near you. We'd love to spread out ... to have regular events in Dallas, Arlington and Plano. I have a list of classics on DVD or VHS that I own, if you want to borrow one and host an event.

“I have watched TCM for years! I especially enjoy B&W movies because the details of the shot are so much more emphasized when the eye isn't distracted by color. Watching old movies is a window into history for me.”
