I enjoyed seeing Steve, Kelvin, Sue, Stacy, and Friedrich today. Kayaking a mile across the lake and a mile back was just about the perfect workout. Thanks for the company, y'all!

I almost got sceered off by the rain. Better late than never. I got to the water about 3pm. Had a great time, brought a friend and the dogs!

Is this a good place for beginners to start? Or more for the more experienced?

The Sunday afternoon practice is perfect. Especially if you need to try out boats before you buy. The beach is a perfect practice area for you.

I am interested in purchasing a kayak!

I envision myself fly fishing in small lakes, ponds, ( or Larger Lakes close to shore, like the dozens of coves/creeks/ etc. at Fork) the VAST majority of times. If I purchase a kayak, however, I am certain I would be interested in a river trip at some time, but my main interest would be lakes/ponds and at sometime salt water bays for reds. Here are 3 kayaks that I am thinking about. If you have any positive/ negative opinions about any of them I would appreciate it.
