GREEN Lunch: Discuss & Form Groups for Medicinal Herbs, Prepping in Place, More

Come join our GREEN lunch to talk about forming (NON-Meetup groups) herb, prepping, other groups to meet around Greenville, Rockwall, Farmersville--maybe even  further east or west if interest is there.

We always share information about sustainable living at lunch but this time we will discuss forming at least two private groups that meet to explore these subjects further, take a few field trips to see and learn, etc.

HERBS: We'll be discussing people's possible interest in herbs and what kind of information you would like in future Herb Talks. First and foremost, this will be a group for using herbs medicinally or homeopathically. But the group might also want to include how to grow herbs, what herbs grow well in our area, why we want to grow herbs, including herbs in a food forest, how to use fresh and dried herbs in cooking and crafting, as well as the medical uses of herbs.

PREPPING: More prepping in place than anything else. What do we need to do at first to eat, have water, have shelter, and prepare for the worst, whatever that is. But followed by what we need for the long haul. This includes growing and saving food, rainwater harvesting, medicinal herbs, energy, staying warm and reasonably cool, homesteading, and more.

Anything else you want a group for??? I am interested in Rob Hopkins’ Transition Town, first learning about it for a few months, then using Greenville as a “poster town” for Transition. Anyone else?
