Why are you interested in this group?

I'm interested in the quantified self 'ethic' that before we can modify our behavior we must first accurately measure that behavior.

What to do you hope to get out of joining the DFW Quantified Self?

I'm trying to get better at organizing my time.

Do you currently collect data on yourself (or in the past)? If so, what type of research have you done?

There are a few things that I track on my phone, including sleep cycles and water intake, hours/day spent on specific tasks. But I haven't coded the entries and made a spreadsheet or anything, and I'm sure that there are lots of things that I'm not recording that I would like to, but I'm planning on doing more.

How did you hear about us?

My wife Kim.

I'm a 30 year old graduate student at the University of North Texas, studying Political Science. In my free time I enjoy playing games, especially table-top RPGs, but also board, card, and video games. I am married to the love of my life, Kim Vail.
