Vendor Night for Agile Project Management Tools

At popular request, we will be scheduling a vendor night to help our group understand some of the tools that are out there to help manage Agile/Scrum projects. We are targeting some of the top 3-4 vendors and prove this concept out. If it is successful and we all find it useful, we will certainly try to get this in the rotation to allow more and more vendors to show case their tools.

Our plan is to let each vendor selected present about 20 minutes and do a Q&A on their tool. Stay tuned for the actual vendors, emails are out to them and once confirmed, we will add them to the list here. If you have any suggestions for tools, feel free to email them to [masked].

Tools Presented

Version One is not able to attend but will be sending literature about their product, we will have that available if you are interested. For future vendor nights, we will also target Pivotal Tracker and Mingle. Please let us know if you see others out there that you would like us to reach out to. These folks are ones that actually reached out to us based on our Vendor Night tweet.

I liked the ability to get a view of the multiple products at a single sitting.

Very informative on the tools and tricks out there. I even got a tip on Rally, the tool we're already using. It would have been good to get representatives from some of the other players in the space; Version One, Mingle, Jira/Greenhopper, Rational Team Concert, etc.

It was a very good experience. I may have found someone to help with my idea.

some of the tools were bettas of the new products - would have loved more time allowed to established ones since they have more functionality to go through.
