A DFW Scrum Quick Update...

From: Lance D.

Good Morning,

On TUE (9.18) we gave away 2 spots in Mike Cohn's upcoming classes for CSM and CSPO. Congratulations to Red Davidson for winning the CSPO class and Rob Tompkins for winning the CSM class.

I also want to thank Mike Cohn for supporting our group so much as a thought leader in Scrum and as a trainer in the community. These are very valuable classes and I am honored that we can give them away to our members.

If you didn't win, you can still sign-up for Mike's classes. CSM is NOV 5-6 and CSPO is NOV 7-8. His early bird pricing ends in about 2 weeks, so sign up now to take advantage of that especially given that they sell out pretty quick when approaching those dates. The classes will again be at the Marriott Suites Market Center. Mike also offer discounts for groups of 3 or more and 10 or more as well as a discount for taking both classes.

Additional information is at http://www.mountaingoatsoftware.com/dallas

If you have any questions or comments, feel free to reach out to Mike directly at mike(at)mountaingoatsoftware.com.

We continue to search for ideas and topics that are of interest to the group. Just make your way to our MeetUp site and click on suggested topics. Click on the link that says "Schedule a Meetup" and type in your topic and a brief description, then get your friends to vote on it. I usually will pick the one with the most votes.

We are targeting Mark Poppendieck or Esther Derby for our Q4 Industry Thought Leader. Either one of those would be a great addition to our continual learning.

Have a great day!

Lance
