My client in Plano, TX is looking for a solid PMP Project Mgr that has been entrenched in Agile/Scrum, SOA, Java teams with solid communications that can interview next week and start the sooner the better!

SCRUM master certification – only a plus!
Under general supervision creates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
Proactively define, manage, and communicate financial, scope, and critical path for assigned projects.
Works on multiple diverse projects of moderate size, scope, and complexity. Performs project management tasks including drafting project documents, establishing and facilitating meetings of cross-functional workgroups and project steering committees, overall project coordination, including planning and sequencing work, setting milestones and deadlines, assigning responsibilities, controlling the indirect management of resources and providing status updates.
Responsible for identifying project risks, creating and implementing contingency plans, and escalating where necessary for resolution.
Performs as an internal consultant, advocate, mentor, and change agent.
Assist Program Manager(s) in partnering with senior management in the business community to identify and prioritize opportunities that utilize IT to achieve enterprise goals.
Possess high-level knowledge and proficiency in project management methodologies and tools, resource management practices, and change management techniques to ensure completion of project deliverable adherence to high quality standards to meet customer expectations.
Serves as liaison between senior management, stakeholders and team members requesting and supporting project.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Required: 4 year degree, certified Project Management Professional (PMP)
Experience: 8 – 10 yrs
Preferred: Experience in entrepreneurial environment,

Skills:
Possess high-level knowledge and proficiency in Resource Management practices and Change Management techniques.
Advanced knowledge of custom applications software development.
Strong written and verbal communication skills including ability to develop presentations and present to management.
Strong knowledge and understanding of business principles, practices and procedures.
Demonstrated problem solving and negotiation skills.
Strong project management skills and experience.
Leverages business and technical expertise across disciplines, demonstrating a high level of industry knowledge.
Contributes to the strategic direction of the client group(s).
