Welcome to the world of the French ... a high French tea no less! We'll be meeting at the beautiful Lavendou, a bit of the South of France in North Dallas!
A visit to Lavendou is a retreat into the French countryside - a place where life is savored as much as the food. The decor is warm and welcoming. Its cozy blue and yellow color scheme, filled with hand screened Pierre Deux fabrics, is the perfect setting in which to lose yourself.
Lavendou is thoroughly French, from the inviting decor to the gracious service and authentic cuisine. But don't expect it to be pretentious. Owner Pascal Cayet is dedicated to providing service that is friendly and efficient. And you will find Lavendou's menu to be deliciously approachable. Serving the lighter fare of Southern France, Lavendou offers many items to tempt your taste buds.
Our High Tea combines the flavors of France with the tranquility of a mid afternoon repast (oh, wait until we arrive!). Cost about $22 each.
would love to carpool rider with somebody. I'm from Plano and can meet at any location on the way. TY!
A. Mary, Lavendou is just south of Bush Turnpike (south of Plano Baylor Hospital) on Preston. So, it's actually almost Plano.
Do you still want to car pool?
Thank you Sara for giving me an idea where Lavendou is. Since I'm directionally and driving-wise challenged, your tip helps. Anyway I'm bringing a friend so we will ride together. TY! See you there.
It was a great tea although a little hot. It's always so much fun to meet new readers. Plus it's a HUGE bonus to hear what everyone else is reading. Can never get enough recommendations.
Hate to ask but would the five people who RSVPed by 5pm Friday please contact me to make arrangements to pay for their teas? All our tea places require payment for the number we reserve so one of the things we require is if you RSVP yes and don't show you're still responsible for paying for tea.

Wow, I turn my head and it FILLS up! Not a bad thing at all!
Well, you're in for a treat and remember to bring books to trade (and bags to put the books in to TAKE home!)
We're going to have SO much fun!
