Educator Night

Bio, Tech and Beyond invites Educators and Scientists to an evening of exploration into how art can improve science and vice versa.

Join Steven Lustig, digital media artist, teacher and STEAM advocate; Jay Klopfenstein, Apple Distinguished Educator and Associate Professor; and a Life Technologies representative to learn more about how to use interactive programs to teach science.

A light supper will be provided.

Great to see so much interest in putting more STEAM into STEM. Inspiring to see so many North County science teachers already including the Next Generation of Science Standards in their classrooms. Thanks to those who work in the Bio Tech field for sharing your backgrounds and projects with us. Looking forward to a tour of the Bio, Tech and Beyond Center here in Carlsbad. Lots of expertise and talent in the room at our first "Science Educator Night" Wednesday evening.
