Through friends and the DIYBio.org site.
Educational classes, laboratory exercises, hackathons and study groups. Specifics: Biofuels, bioprinters, biosensors and glowing stuff (of course!). Molecular motors, viruses, nanoparticles and cellular organization are what interest me most at this present time!
Mostly in biochemistry/molecular biology, analytical chem. and materials. Currently in a lab at UCLA studying viral self-assembly and disassembly
Lets build better Bio! I am excited about DIYBio here in San Diego, as I can contribute to the group through education, community outreach and help provide opportunities to entrepreneurs in biotech.
A Renaissance is coming to DIYBio, and its coming to Carlsbad, CA.
