How did you hear about us?

I used to live in Seattle and there was recently an article in the Seattle Times about DIYbio.org because a new resource had opened there near the UW campus. I followed the breadcrumbs to look into local groups and facilities.

What sort of events do you expect from DIYbio San Diego?

I am excited about the recent events I have seen posted on the site and am looking forward to what the group is coordinating in the future.

How would you describe your lab experience?

Minimal, beyond the coursework leading to my B.S. in Biology. As available, I would be very happy to assist others with their experiments and learn and contribute in that fashion until I am ready to launch my own projects.

Introduction

Hi! I am passionate about biology and biotech. My career started in the engineering field many years ago and I haven't yet been able to totally cross over, so I am eager to learn, experience, and contribute as much as possible on the side.
