    Hi all,

I posted some pictures that I took at our last DIY Bio meeting on the Action Potential facebook page.

Feel free to follow Action Potential on twitter @HelloAction or on facebook and you can join the mailinglist on the splashpage:

I will be in touch very shortly with the new website and more info regarding opening night, contact info, directions, and space for our DIY Bio materials.

I am really looking forward to the next few months and I'm excited about collaborating with DIY Bio in the new space!

Hey guys I was wondering...what sort of tools are hugely expensive in the bio community but largely expensive and inaccessible? Also I wanted to ask how valuable would pipettes be that are adjustable in amount and relatively precise?

I have a spectrophotometer in my garage which I've been patiently waiting to pass on to the right person. The catch is, I don't know if it works. The label says "UV160U UV-visible recording spectrophotometer, Shimadzu". Let me know if this interests you.

I will bring in what I have which includes a PCR machine, pipettes and a agarose gel box plus maybe a few other odds and ends. It should be a good start. This is next week, correct?
