Introduction to Lockpicking

Introduction to Locksport at the Locksport International Meetup

Have you ever wondered how locks work? Would you like to learn how to open one without a key? Then join this hands-on workshop where we will explain the mechanics of a pin tumbler lock and show you how to open it with lockpick tools. Practice locks and tools will be available for sharing during the workshop held at the Locksport Int'l LA Meetup http://www.meetup.com/li-losangeles/events/101025492/

There are two basic rules that must be followed:
Never pick locks that you don't own, or that you don't have the owners explicit permission to pick.
Never pick locks that are in use or that you depend upon.

*Special thanks to Holly, one of our members and professional locksmith, for setting this up and being the host for Friday!

Hi Luz, we are next in line on the wait list. Since I live nearby we were wondering if we could head over and see if there are no shows.

Didn't receive an email that I was off of the wait list, otherwise I would have attended. :( Hopefully, there will be another lockpicking event scheduled.

Hi I didn't realize this was downtown. With a 1 year old in the house, getting there this late won't happen! Please host it again! Thanks

There will be a small number of tools that people can use while at the event. If you would like to have your own set to take home with you, please bring $25, cash only.

Will you please confirm the time? Is it at 7 pm or 8 pm? The meetup link you provided says 7 pm and this meetup says 8 pm. Thanks for clarifying in advance.

Hi Chanalisa. The space will open at 7 pm but I will not arrive until 8 pm. You are welcome to come early and chat with the others until I join you.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
