Mother/Daugther E-textiles workshop

DIY Girls presents a special workshop in celebration of Mother's Day!

Introduce a girl in your life to creative engineering! Our hands-on e-textiles workshop is an introduction to wearable electronics and sewing circuits.

Each adult/child pair will learn to create basic electrical circuits using conductive thread and LEDs and make their own creation using available fabric and other materials. This is an opportunity for girls to be creative while learning technical skills.

For registration and more info please go to http://diygirls.eventbrite.com

We're also looking for volunteers for the workshop. If you'd like to help sign up and I'll contact you. No experience necessary just willing to learn and help others. :)

Special thanks to Idealab for hosting this event!

My middle daughter is having her First Communion ceremony at that time, otherwise I would have registered for the event. Bummer! I am looking forward to future events.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
