Make Your Dreams Come True... Tour Tech Shop then Chow Good Stuff Burgers

We will get a tour of the workshop at Tech Shop, then grab some burgers at Good Stuff Eatery in Crystal City.

Please meet us at Tech Shop at 12:45 PM for a 1 PM tour.  There will be some paperwork to fill out.  Once we finish that we will take the tour and then chow on some burgers at Good Stuff.  Here's the menu.  Burger options include beef, turkey, chicken and shroom (mushroom).

My first time everyone was friendly and Tech Shop has so much to offer. Best burger I've had in a while. Thanks to our organizer Skyvette for the patience and commitment in arranging this!!!

Is it possible to skip the tech shop tour and meet you at the burger place (which I hope has non-burger options)? Thanks.

Great! Thanks, Skyvette. Sorry, for some reason I missed the link to the restaurant on the invite. :) What time do you think the group will get to the restaurant?

      November 7

    • Skyvette

The tour should last approximately an hour. I would think the group will go to the restaurant a little after 2 PM.

I'm sorry that I can't make it after all. It sounds very interesting and I'd enjoy meeting people in this group.
I was able to go if it was on October 18, but I can't go on November 8. So I changed my RSVP to NO. I hope someone else can take my place.

Hi Mike - I have increased the RSVP number to 15 and plan to find out today if we can take it up to 20. Plan on attending, I expect that we will get everyone on the current waiting list on the attendee list.

For those of you on the waiting list:
I am willing to expand the number of people of the tour, however I have to give Tech Shop a heads up. I will contact them and update the RSVP number. If you decide not to go, please update your RSVP accordingly so we are not expecting you.

Our tenative dates for the tour are Saturdays 10/18 or 10/25. I will check with Tech Shop, then post once the schedule is set. If you have recommendations on the date and time, this is the time to make them.

Planning for June 2015? I'm unable to plan for next week due to life events but this one sounds incredible. Will be watching for a firm date and take it from there. Hope something will come up soon. Weekdays and weekday nights are best for me.

Is there a fee for the tour? I checked the website and did not see any mention of any fee. I'm focusing on low-cost, cheap, free meetup events at the moment :-).

    Thx.

The tour is free. I have no doubt they will try to sell a membership, but that's to be expected.
