The mission of Final Salute Inc. is to provide homeless women Veterans with safe and suitable housing.
The word homeless should not be associated with any Veteran. However, most people are not even aware that a homeless women Veteran population exist.
It is estimated that there are 55,000 homeless women Veterans in the United States. For the sacrifices they and their families have made, this is an unacceptable state for any of them to be in.
Women Veterans are twice as likely to be in the homeless population as they are to be the U.S. adult female population.
Women Veterans are almost three (2.7) times more likely to be in the homeless population than in the women poverty population.
Women Veterans are also more likely to be homeless when compared to female non-veterans in the U.S. and women non-veterans in the poverty population.
We encourage women Veterans to join and women are equally passionate about getting our sister Veterans off the Street!

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
