At tonight's meeting, psychologist and therapist Dr. Ed Brackenbury will speak with us about loss, change, grief, transitions and new life. He's spoken on this topic many times, and last visited our group in September 2013. His words will comfort, encourage and inspire you.
The "grief wheel" we have on our handouts table every week was brought to us by Ed, and has been a great "road map" for many people dealing with difficult life transitions.
Our weekly meetings run from 6:30 pm to 8:30pm. After a brief introduction, we see a video (or at other times of the year, hear from a live speaker) until about 7:30. Then after an overview of our program and some introductions and announcements, we take a short break and go into smaller groups at about 7:45 for the remainder of the meeting. There's a special group for newcomers and visitors, support groups, and discussion groups.
We also offer an on-site dinner, children's activities and infant/child care. These services are offered for a fee and require reservations in advance. Please click here for details.

There are no fees or membership requirements for this program. You do not have to have a Meetup account to attend. If you do have an account, it would be great if you'd click "Yes" if you're coming to this and future meetings. That makes our group more visible on Meetup, and encourages others to come.
