"Rescue Your Love Life" video #2 of 8 ("He/she should make me happy!")

Tonight we continue our eight-week video series called "Rescue Your Love Life."  These videos are based upon the book of the same name by Drs. Henry Cloud and John Townsend. The subtitle is “Changing The Eight Dumb Attitudes and Behaviors that Will Sink Your Marriage” - but these attitudes and behaviors are found not just in marriages, but in many, if not most, relationships. Unrealistic expectations of partners are the root causes of many relationship failures. This material will help you understand past relationship experiences, and prepare yourself for healthier ones in the future.

An overview of the eight weeks:

The video each week will be followed by a time of small group discussion, confidential sharing and support. You are welcome to visit or attend, without regard to your situation, separation/divorce timeline or faith background.

You do not have to join meetup or be a member of our group to access our meetup site. If you join, you can control how much e-mail you get from or through meetup. Please review this newly-updated information on how to manage your privacy and security on meetup.com.

While RSVPs are not required, it would be great if you'd click "Yes" if you're coming to this and future meetings. That makes our group more visible on Meetup, and encourages others to come.

Child care is available for our Tuesday meetings (except on holidays). Children should be at least five years of age. Contact us in advance if you need child care for younger children.

Finally, if you'd like to extend the benefits of Divorce and Relationship Recovery through new groups in other parts of the Bay Area, and eventually beyond, this would be a great time to make a financial gift to the Divorce and Relationship Recovery Network.

The guest speakers were great and the content was actionable. Hit it out of the ballpark this week!

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
